Johnnie Molina
Johnnie and the Rumblers are led by long time Tucson, Arizona, USA guitarist Johnnie Molina. Johnnie has been performing in Tucson since 1972. He recently retired from his electrical engineering job at Texas Instruments where he designed microchips. He is now focusing his energy on songwriting and performing classic rock music. Johnnie says "I've been playing and performing since I was 15 years old. Life has had me on different priorities over the years, but there’s never been any doubt in my mind where my heart was. The guys and I may have a few wrinkles on our faces but as musicians… we’re in our prime. If someone had told me when I was 15 that I’d still be rocking in my 70's….well… not sure what I would have said! Now I'm thinking, why not just keep going in my 80's!!”

Johnnie’s electric guitar style reflects a variety of guitar hero’s from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s who influenced his style. A little Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jeff Beck, Carlos Santana and even Joe Walsh (from his James Gang days) can be heard during Johnnie’s live performances.
